In this performance my husband and I sat across from each other at a kitchen table. The table was opened in the center, to allow for two cameras on tri-pods to record our mouths. This moving image was projected onto the bread in front of us. His mouth image was projected onto my bread and my mouth image was projected onto his bread. While gazing at each other and also at the bread we are consuming, we each ate half of a loaf of bread. The space is dark except for the light on our faces and it is quite. The piece is finished when our bread is consumed. This performance is about communication between a couple.
